Grant
Teacher Innovation Grant
ClosedMini-grants for classroom innovation and instructional materials.
Overview
The Teacher Innovation Grant provides classroom scale funding for ideas that make learning active, relevant, and joyful. Grants may support materials, equipment, field experiences, or pilot programs that align with district goals and state standards.
Strong proposals usually include:
- A clear learning objective tied to curriculum standards
- A simple plan for instruction, practice, and reflection
- How students will show what they learned
- A reasonable budget that lists each item and estimated cost
Allowable expenses:
- Classroom manipulatives, lab supplies, makerspace materials, novels sets, and age appropriate software licenses
- Transportation for a purpose driven field trip connected to lesson objectives
- Stipends are not allowed; durable items should remain with the school
Application format:
- Two to three pages describing the idea, the why, the who, and the how
- Budget spreadsheet or list with vendor links when possible
- One paragraph from the principal confirming awareness and support
Reporting:
- A brief summary with two examples of student work or photos is requested within six weeks of the project wrap up
We prioritize projects that can be reused or adapted by other educators in the building. Small changes can lead to big gains for students.
